• Master of Laws from the University of Nairobi
• Postgraduate Diploma in Criminology from the University of Edinburgh
• Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of East Africa (Dar-es-Salaam University College)

• Judge of the High Court of Kenya
• Solicitor-General, Office of the Attorney-General (Kenya)
• Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP), Office of the Attorney-General (Kenya)
