A number of qualified but financially needy students have been unable to join the School due to lack of finances. It is for this reason that on 31st October 2015, the School launched the endowment fund at a dinner held at the Carnivore, Nairobi. The function was presided over by Mr. Keraiko Tobiko, Director of Public Prosecution of the Republic of Kenya.
Those who made their contributions during the launch included, Kioko Kilukumi, TripleOKlaw Advocates, Oraro & Co. Advocates, A.F Gross Office Account, Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocates, D.V Kapila& Co. Office, Dr. Gideon, Muriuki – MBS, P.K Muite, S.C Advocates, Hon. Mr. Justice Onguto, Athiambo Rautta, Jane Njeri Onyango, Chrispine Odhiambo, David Ochieng, Albert Murambi Simiyu, Mr. P G Mbuthia, UAP Insurance Company, Barrack Muluka, Keriako Tobiko and Rautta Athiambo.
In his remarks Mr. Tobiko commended the School for this initiative which he said would allow needy students access legal education. During the ceremony, the School’s Strategic Plan 2015-2018 and the Alumni Association were also launched.
